A BOOMER'S PLAYTIME STORY

One bright morning, the Certified Functional Aging Instructor and Professional Boomer Play Coach set up a special area in the community center filled with folding chairs, walkers, and wheelchairs. They were all arranged in a circle, and the surrounding open space had recently been decorated. The seniors were greeted with warm smiles and cheerful greetings as they arrived.

The room was alive with laughter and lively conversation as the seated seniors embraced this innovative and enjoyable approach to staying active.

The Professional Play Coach initiated Storytime, where they brought imaginary tales to life by interacting with the seniors and encouraging them to participate as characters in the story. This created a lively atmosphere with fun games, generational trivia, and exciting, memorable music, igniting youthful energy and shared delight among the participants. As the session neared its end, the seniors were anticipating the next gathering.
